Feliks is a Russian anarchist who is encumbered with killing Prince Orlov, merely because the Prince is negotiating a wartime alliance with Great Britain and the Earl of Walden. The Earl of Walden is charged with securing an alliance with his nephew Prince Orlov and Russia by a young and ruthless Winston Churchill. Each man is determined to accomplish his mission, especially Felix who feels that by killing Prince Orlov and preventing an alliance he will save his countrymen from terrible suffering. Feliks is calculating and cold, but what he does not account for is that his past and present inextricably linked to that of The Earl of Walden, and his wife Lydia. Lydia is Feliks’ past lover, and she carries dark secrets of her own. Feliks soon finds himself torn between his mission, and his past.
