IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES

Sometimes late at night
I lie awake and watch her sleeping
She’s lost in peaceful dreams
So I turn out the lights and lay there in the dark
And the thought crosses my mind
If I never wake up in the morning
Would she ever doubt the way I feel
About her in my heart

If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her
Did I try in every way
To show her every day
That she’s my only one
If my time on earth were through
And she must face this world without me
Is the love I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes.

‘Cause I’ve lost loved ones in my life
Who never knew how much I loved them
Now I live with the regret
That my true feelings for them never were revealed
So I made a promise to myself
To say each day how much she means to me
And avoid that circumstance
Where there’s no second chance
To tell her how I feel

If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her
Did I try in every way
To show her every day
That she’s my only one
If my time on earth were through
And she must face this world without me
Is the love I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes

So tell that someone that you love
Just what you’re thinking of
If tomorrow never comes

By Ronan Keaton. It’s one of my favorites. It reminds that, you should always let the one person that you love or whoever you care about to know how you feel about them.

A WARM NOVEMBER DAY

For sixteen years,Simon Connelly’s successful wife has gone to her law office each day, while he has stayed home to raise their children.Though Simon has loved taking care of Jake and Laney,it has cost him a part of himself, and has made him an anomaly in his pretty, suburban neighborhood the only stay-at-home dad among a tight circle of mothers.

Shepherding them through childhood, the angst-ridden father has tried to do the best for the kids, even if he often second-guesses his choices. For sunny, outgoing Laney,it’s been easy. But quiet Jake has always preferred the company of his books or his sister to playdates and organized sports. Now that they are in high school,Simon should feel more relaxed, but he doesn’t.He’s seen the statistics, read the headlines. Then,on a warm November day,he receives a text:There has been a shooting at the high school.Racing to the rendezvous point,Simon is forced to wait with scores of other anxious fathers and tearful mothers, overwhelmed by the disturbing questions running through his head. How many victims were there? Why did this happen? One by one, parents are reunited with their children.Their numbers dwindle, until Simon is alone.Laney has gone home with her mom. Jake is the only child missing. As his worst nightmare unfolds,Simon begins to obsess over the past, searching for answers, for hope, for the memory of the boy he raised, for the mistakes he must have made, for the reason everything came to this. Jake could not have done this or could he?As rumors begin to ricochet, amplified by an invasive media,Simon must find answers. But there is only one way to understand what has happened . . . he must find Jake.

MERCY ME – I CAN ONLY IMAGINE

I can only imagine what it will be like
When I walk by Your side
I can only imagine what my eyes will see
When Your face is before me
I can only imagine
I can only imagine.

Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for You Jesus?
Or in awe of You be still?

Will I stand in Your presence
To my knees will I fall?
Will I sing,Hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine,yeah
I can only imagine.

I can only imagine when that day comes
And I find myself standing in the sun
I can only imagine when all I will do
Is forever,forever worship You
I can only imagine,Uhm,uhm
I can only imagine.

To be surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for You Jesus?
Or in awe of You be still?

Will I stand in Your presence
To my knees will I fall?
Will I sing,Hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine,yeah
I can only imagine.

To be surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for You Jesus?
Or in awe of You be still?

Will I stand in Your presence
To my knees will I fall?
Will I sing,Hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

I can only imagine
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

I can only imagine
When all I would do
Is forever,forever worship You
I can only imagine.

One of the best foods for the soul.

I CAME TO SAY GOODBYE

It was four o’clock in the morning.A young woman pushed through the hospital doors.Staff would later say they thought the woman was a new mother, returning to her child and in a way,she was.
She walked into the nursery, where a baby girl lay sleeping. The infant didn’t wake when the woman placed her gently in the shopping bag she had brought with her. There is CCTV footage of what happened next, and most Australians would have seen it,either on the internet or the news. The woman walked out to the car park, towards an old Corolla. For a moment, she held the child gently against her breast and, with her eyes closed, she smelled her.She then clipped the infant into the car,got in and drove off. That is where the footage ends.It isn’t where the story ends, however. It’s not even where the story starts.

EVERYTHING I BELIEVED

They told her she killed her son. She served her time. But what if they lied?

I have no memory of what happened but I was told I killed my son.And you believe what your loved ones, your doctor and the police tell you, don’t you? My name is Emma Cartwright. Three years ago I was Susan Webster, and I murdered my twelve-week-old son Dylan.I was sent to Oakdale Psychiatric Institute for my crime, and four weeks ago I was released early on parole with a new identity, address and a chance to rebuild my tattered life. This morning,I received an envelope addressed to Susan Webster.Inside it was a photograph of a toddler called Dylan. Now I am questioning everything I believe because if I have no memory of the event, how can I truly believe he’s dead?

If there was the smallest chance your son was alive, what would you do to get him back?

LESS LIKE ART AND A LOT MORE LIKE EVIDENCE

Ethan Muller is struggling to establish his reputation as a dealer in the cutthroat world of contemporary art when he is alerted to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: in a decaying New York slum,an elderly tenant has disappeared, leaving behind a staggeringly large trove of original drawings and paintings. Nobody can tell Ethan much about the old man, except that he came and went in solitude for nearly forty years, his genius hidden and unacknowledged.Despite the fact that, strictly speaking, the artwork doesn’t belong to him,Ethan takes the challenge and makes a name for the old man – and himself.Soon Ethan has to congratulate himself on his own genius: for storytelling and salesmanship. But suddenly the police are interested in talking to him.It seems that the missing artist had a nasty past, and the drawings hanging in the Muller Gallery have begun to look a lot less like art and a lot more like evidence.Sucked into an investigation four decades cold,Ethan will uncover a secret legacy of shame and death, one that will touch horrifyingly close to home and leave him fearing for his own life.

STUPIDITY KNOWS NO BOUNDS BY JOSEPHINE OSEI BONSU

NAKEDNESS IN PUBLIC: I know there are stupid people living among us but I didn’t know they were this many.We now live in a world where some women and men think that the word ‘ SEXY ‘ means Showing your NAKEDNESS to the WORLD.Especially women who supposed to be role models go out with half-size of a handkerchief covering their nipple and they call that a dress and the worst of all, they go out there wearing see through gowns and pantless ( wearing nothing underneath ). ( WHAT IN THE devil’s NAME IS THAT ). I hear some people saying that you have to love your body and be able to show it off. YES I agree but to whom and where do you have to show it?

WHEN HE RELIVES A BANK ROBBERY FIVE YEARS EARLIER

When a casino robbery in Atlantic City goes horribly awry, the man who orchestrated it is obliged to call in a favor from someone who’s occasionally called Jack. While it’s doubtful that anyone knows his actual name or anything at all about his true identity,or even if he’s still alive,he’s in his mid-thirties and lives completely off the grid,a criminal’s criminal who does entirely as he pleases and is almost impossible to get in touch with.

But within hours a private jet is flying this exceptionally experienced fixer and cleaner-upper from Seattle to New Jersey and right into a spectacular mess: one heister dead in the parking lot, another winged but on the run, the shooter a complete mystery, the $1.2 million in freshly printed bills god knows where and the FBI already waiting for Jack at the airport,to be joined shortly by other extremely interested and elusive parties. He has only forty-eight hours until the twice-stolen cash literally explodes, taking with it the wider, byzantine ambitions behind the theft. To contend with all this will require every gram of his skill, ingenuity and self-protective instincts, especially when offense and defense soon become meaningless terms. And as he maneuvers these exceedingly slippery slopes,he relives the botched bank robbery in Kuala Lumpur five years earlier that has now landed him this unwanted new assignment.

And that’s exactly what someone is doing. Someone is helping these victims get their five minutes alone. But when innocent people start to die,Tate and Schroder find themselves with different objectives, and soon they’re battling something they never would’ve expected each other.
